Apple Picking at Harvest Moon

Last weekend, me and a couple of friends decided to go apple picking at Harvest Moon. They had cider made at the orchard, food trucks, and lots of activities!

We decided to head over there pretty early to avoid traffic, even though we got there at around 12:30 pm it was so packed! There were lines for absolutely everything, but once we ordered our cider and went up to the orchard it felt pretty peaceful and was super fun. It was definitely a good experience and I would recommend it for anyone that lives in the New York area to go there during the fall, but specifically during apple season!

They had really good food. A lot of it was fair food for the most part but they also had other things like wood fired pizza and Mexican food. We ended up trying the kettle corn, the donuts, and the giant pretzel, which where all amazing.

This place is definitely a fun place to come with your friends for the day and eat some good food and have some cider! We took home about 8 apples and I will be sharing the recipes that I make with them soon!
