My Morning Routine

 

For the most part, mornings are really hard for me. I usually would prefer to sleep in than to wake up and get my life together. But, I know that breakfast is super important so I try to incorporate it into my morning routine somehow.

As soon as I wake up, I prepare warm water with lemon in order to start my day with something that is not too heavy and bring down my thirst. This also motivates me to start my day in a healthy way and it tastes very good! After, I prepare myself any sort of tea - green tea, black tea, etc. I will try to drink this at home, but if I don’t have enough time, I will drink it while I am driving to work! I also prepare a coffee with oat milk to drink while I am at work at around 10am.

Finally, I take a fruit or a smoothie to eat/drink in the car as my breakfast with some sort of protein/carb. Sometimes its a gluten free muffin with chia seeds, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, or protein balls!

This gives me enough energy to start my day, hydrates me, and its also giving me important nutrients and minerals that help me in different aspects such as my hair, my skin, etc.
