Favorite Brunch Spots in NYC

One of the best parts about living in New York is the amazing food you can get anywhere you go! I love that here in the city, going out to eat is not just the act of going out to eat, but it is an activity. Every place is different and has its own charm.

Cantina Rooftop

During the summer and fall this place has been so much fun, with great food! I usually order the Guacamole and/or Huevos Rancheros. The people I have been with have ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, the Mexican Double Smash Burger, 3 sides, and no one has ever left unhappy. The food is filling and very good, but the fact that you get an amazing view of the city from their rooftop makes the whole experience even better. To top it off, they have unlimited mimosas, bellinis and sangria for 90 minutes for the value of only $25. This is a great deal! Especially in Manhattan, where 1 drink is usually from $10-$15 minimum. Catina also has a DJ and a great atmosphere if you are trying to day drink and have some fun with your friends.

Catch NYC

Catch is more of a chill experience, it doesn’t feel like you are partying but more like you are there to enjoy the amazing food they have to offer. My friends and I ordered the Brunch Prix Fixe Menu to share and it was amazing! The options that we chose were the Roasted Beets as the appetizer, the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and the Croque Madame for the Entrees, and the Smoked Chicken Sausage Link for the side. For dessert, we got the Seasonal Sorbet and it was very, very good. This whole Fixe also included a bottle of champagne with orange juice on the side for our mimosas! Catch NYC is a little bit more expensive the Cantina. For the Prix Fixe we payed $85 and because it was three of us, we had to order another Entree in order to be able to share so we chose the Avocado Toast from the Breads and Spreads menu which was $19. Even though Catch NYC is a little bit more pricy than other places, it is 100% worth it. It has a rooftop but also gives you a more relaxing dining experience. Great place to catch up with friends and enjoy the Meatpacking District of Manhattan.
