1 Pot Pasta - 2 Different Ways! With meat or VEGAN!

Super simple, super delicious!! My recipes usually have no dairy (no cheese, or milk) and these ones don’t either, but they taste like they do and that is why I love making 1 pot pasta.

These take about 30 minutes total to make and taste so delicious. It is the perfect recipe for when you have guests over, or are not really feeling like cooking, but still trying to avoid eating out!

COOK TIME: 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

- 1 box of pasta

-1 cup of cut up chicken sausage

-4 cups of water

-Spices of choice - I like using garlic powder, salt + pepper

-Optional veggies: For one of these I used cherry tomatoes and sweet onions, for the other one I used broccoli and sweet onions.

For the 1 pot pasta recipes, first, you’re going to cut your sausage (I used chicken sausage for both of them) into small pieces. If you choose not to use meat, you can skip this step.

Then, you are going to add whatever sides you want to go with it. I added broccoli, olive oil and sweet onions to one and to the other one I added just onions.

You brown it for about 5-10 minutes and once the sausage looks almost done you throw in the pasta.

For 1 box of pasta you add 4 cups of water and let it start boiling. Don’t forget to throw in some salt as well. Once the water has been soaked by the pasta and the pasta is al dente you turn off the stove. (If you need a little extra water, just add some and keep checking it). Finally you can top it off with some Parmesan cheese if you’d like, some red pepper flakes or some fresh cherry tomatoes!

Let me know if you make this and stay tuned for more easy, clean recipes. Let’s stay healthy together!
